2009

THE BLESSING OF HOLY TRINITY CHURCH
COMPLEX located on Route 5 in Woodlawn, New York
will take place on Saturday, November 7th at 1:00 pm.
A light reception will follow in the parish hall.

THE NEW CHURCH YEAR begins on Sunday, November
29th. The Readings from the Lectionary will be from
Cycle C.

ADVENT QUIET DAY RETREAT – Saturday, November
28th from 9 am to 4 pm at Holy Mother of the Rosary
Cathedral. Call 685-5766 to register.

RORATE MASSES honoring the Blessed Virgin Mary
will be celebrated every Wednesday during Advent at
7 am in the Chapel of the Cathedral.

SOLEMNITY OF THE HUMBLE SHEPHERDS

will be commemorated at Masses in all of our Parishes on Sunday, December 27th. A special collection will be taken for the support of the Seminary in Scranton, PA.

2010 Diocese Events

The Blessing of Oils and Annual Diocesan Clergy
Conference will be held at Holy Family Parish,
McKeesport, PA on Tuesday, March 30th at 7 pm. The
Clergy Conference will begin at 1 pm in the Parish Hall.

The Diocesan Council Annual Meeting will be held at
Mercyhurst College, Erie, PA on Saturday, April 17th at
10 am.

The Annual Diocesan Youth Retreat will be held at Camp
Wesley Woods in Grand Valley, PA from July 4 to 8.

The National Youth Convocation will be held at
Monmouth University in West Long Branch, from July
26 to 30.

The General Synod will be held in Niagara Falls, Ontario,
Canada, October 4 to 8.

The Rev. John Rencewicz II has been appointed Pastor
of Holy Trinity Parish, New Castle, PA, effective September 1, 2009. Father Rencewicz is appointed as the Dean of the Central Deanery of the Buffalo/Pittsburgh Diocese
effective November 1, 2009.

The installation ceremony of Very Rev.
Father John Rencewicz as Senior
Priest will be held on Friday,
December 4, 2009 at 7 pm during
Holy Mass in Holy Trinity Church,
New Castle, PA.
